Swedish Meatballs with Sabrina

4 Jan

Guess who’s finally back in action?

Alexander gave Sabrina the Nintendo Personal Chef Trainer for Christmas, and it inspired her to get back in the kitchen and start cooking again.

It also helped that I’ve been bugging her incessantly to do something other than bicker with her brother – otherwise I’ll be committed to a mental institution before winter break is over.

She picked Swedish Meatballs with Mashed Potatoes – which was great, because we’ve never tried them before.

I took her to the market to get the ingredients, then stood back and let her run the show.

She did really well, and the food was superb.  She was so proud of herself, she can’t wait to cook again.

Maybe their blog won’t die a slow death after all…………..

How great is it that your baby is cooking!
You have a beautiful kitchen. So grown up. Not like my oddball, patchwork workspace!

A Personal Chef Trainer? That sounds cool. If you ever get to an IKEA, try their Swedish meatball meal. It’s one of the best examples.

    Good for her!
How is that program? I keep thinking I will pick up either it or the Jaime Oliver and borrow one of my kids DS’s to see if I like them, then maybe get myself a DS if I do.
