Thanks to the wonders of Embarq/Centurylink service, we have been without internet service for the past two days.
Our fiber-optic line is his-tor-y, but we are now connected via dsl. All is not lost, however, and I hope to be back on posting schedule later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Ugh good luck! When my internet went out two summers ago, I called the company every day until they fixed it. I told them that I worked at home and that I was losing money precipitously every day that i didn’t have internet access. It till took them almost a week.
The Grinch stole your internet! Good luck getting back online.
A lot of folks in my hometown have Embarq and they have had a ton of trouble with it! I’m so sorry you’re having internet woes!
Oh my! I probably would have camped out at our local coffee shop. Yes, I am that much of an Internet addict.
